Baseball Season

Fast forwarding two months, I will catch up, but the last 8 weeks Eitan was in a T ball league, our first foray into organized sports.

This was a great entry, once a week, Sunday afternoon, both boys loved going, and it was totally non competitive, they didn't keep score, everyone went at bat until they hit the ball and they didn't even keep score.

And, photos, a million:

Indoor Creativity

OK! The last of my "It's March but we're still stuck inside" posts. Here are some ways that we got through long weekends with frigid temperatures".

Creatively playing with Amazon boxes,

Climbing the furniture,

Lots of brownies and chocolate!

Purim

Yes, Pesach was already a week ago, and I'm just now getting to Purim photos. I blame Seasonal Affective Disorder, because this winter was the freaking worst, and I was physically unable to do anything the last brutal month.

Hey, it snowed a huge blizzard on Purim. 10 inches. Is anyone surprised? We had to cancel plans to go to Ami's parents seudah with the extended Rozmaryn family, and hosted a very impromptu bbq seduah with the Baltimore contingency.

Port Discovery Adventures

Winter is FINALLY over. It's crazy, but it even snowed a couple of weeks ago. But, the trees are blooming, the daffodils have sprung, and we are finally able to spend after school hours out taking walks and just playing and enjoying the spring.

All winter though, we had a secret escape, Port Discovery the children's museum downtown. Here are some photos of the boys enjoying the space on cold winter Sundays.

Love for Daddy

Every once and a while the boys give their dad some attention. It's never before 7am unfortunately...

Hamentaschen Baking

So much messier and takes so much longer then if I just did it after bedtime, but we're making memories, right?

The One Where Levav Gets a Big Boy Bed

Since coming back from California (over winter break, another thing I haven't blogged about), the boys have demanded to share a room.

We thought it would last a couple nights so blew up the air mattress for Eitan next to Lev's crib. Three weeks later, we realize that this isn't going to fly. They want to be together, and after a few mornings of Eitan pulling Lev out of his crib- ending with a thump- it was time for a plan.

So down out of the attic came the matching bed to Eitan's- a pair that our house's previous owners left and I painted together knowing one day we'd want them together, and if you're doing one bed, might as well do the second if you are as anal as I am and want to ensure a perfect match.

Over the long weekend we got them new matching bedding, a rail for the babe, and moved some artwork around and other things so it would feel like their room, not just Eitan's room with an extra bed. There's still work to do finishing in there, and Levav's clothes and everything still are in his room, but as of a few minutes ago, they're together.

Some shots of the mini room reveal...

And so Eitan didn't feel left out (total first kid that boy):

More Chanuka

As it turns out the rest of Chanuka wasn't as well documented as the first night. Lovely gifts, Eitan lighting a REAL candle with REAL fire. We also spent Shabbat Chanuka with the Shur cousins where Yosef made unbelievable munchkins. Also a shot from our Shul Chanuka party where Eitan had his face painted and had balloon swords. Pretty much the best afternoon a 4 year old could think of.
