Nina and nuthouse
Nina came over last week for a couple of days before her return to Israel (boo).
Other then wonderful quality time with the babies she sampled local delicacies...nuthouse pizza and Max's shawarma. The latter didn't go over well, but the pizza- she liked. Score one for dirty out of town pizza. And yes, I just returned to my roots and called anything but NY out of town....

The Poor Kid
He's been getting up so early that even by a five pm dinnertime, he's done. And by done, like really done. The sweet boy fell asleep right at the table with his hand still in his little bowl of yogurt.
And for a better sense of how deeply sleeping this little Eitan was....

Levav's First Food
Levav turned five months this week (whaaatt?) and we decided to start him on some food. And by food I mean a teaspoon of rice cereal with an ounce of breast milk. So kind of more like spooned him some milk...Either way, not impressed.
We did perfect the art of getting that tedious ounce of food into him with the two man offense. Ami spooning an amount into his mouth IMMEDIATELY followed by me sticking the pacifier in his mouth so that he sucks it down. It's working wonders, but not a long term solution. After a few days of this delicious concoction we'll move onto mashed avocados and other soft things, but so far so good. A fun night activity for all...
And yes, once again, we feed our kid naked. It's a good thing we have boys that become of food eating age in the spring!
And for those really interested in the eating habits of one Levav Chanan Rozmaryn, a video of the whole shebang in action:

Pesach Vacation in Mexico
We had a great time, but are now paying the price in terms of off schedules, demands for cake and lollipops (by the toddler) and omlett stations, cut mangos and homemade lox (by the daddy) and suitcases full of laundry.
Eitan loved the beach. Especially flinging sand. We sat on the shore and he kept saying "water come back" as the tide went up and down. This trip was Levav's first time in the pool and in the ocean. Many milestones.
He also is THISCLOSE to crawling this baby. Not even five months old! Propping himself on all fours, schootching around like it's going out of style. Adorable.
We took a boat ride around the properties mostly trying to keep Eitan from jumping ship by accident.

But mostly we enjoyed the sunshine, being with the Kbaum side of the family and eating, a lot a lot of eating. Oh, and Ami got the flu and Eitan a ruptured ear drum. But that's too much fun to write about here.
