New York!

So remember that time when we went to New York and forgot to post pictures for weeks?

Right. So that's now. Enjoy.

Videos

With Eitan in school and the Levster taking more consistent naps, we've been getting some good quality time alone with each of the two boys.

And even remembering to take video sometimes:

Eitan learning some wresteling moves:

Levav at Four Months!

I can't believe this fella is already four months old. And I can say with confidence that he's just cute. Not parent cute, but legit cute (you know parent cute, right? Like cute like a parent would think a baby is cute, but not like, the rest of the world).

He's changing so quickly, I forget how fast it goes.

He's a big smiler, loves people and being held, and always wants to be sitting upright either on a lap or in the bumbo chair. He's pretty angelic during the day. At night, he's still up about a million times, the little devil (see below for evidence in outfit form), but during the day, he's a dream.

Lev is starting to really play with toys, reaching for them when he's on his tummy and we put them a bit in front of him and kicking and grabbing in his gymini mat when on his back. He rolls over, from stomach to back, and is just starting to a little bit start moving and scootching. It's nuts, he might end up being a really early crawler...we're in trouble.

Now that Eitan's in school every day, I feel like we're finally really getting some quality time. Like real maternity leave rather than "keep the toddler entertained and from smacking the baby around" time.

After just getting back from a visit to the family in New York (some pictures to come later this week, obv) we have a wonderfully busy next couple of weeks with sisters returning from Israel (yay!) a trip to Mexico for Pesach (yay!) and more house and job stuff, so you know, keep in touch.

Yeah, we still think it's funny...

To put our baby in things. With Eitan it all started in an oversize popcorn bucket on a dare, and from around 4 months when he could sit up kind of, until he could walk away from the little positions we put him in, it was all about finding the right receptacle to place our guy in.

Exhibit A:

There's actually an entire page in Eitan's baby book filled with such shots. But onto the newer, smaller, more easy to just place baby in our lives.

Here he is in a silver punch bowl, family heirloom. Amazing...even better then being born with a silver spoon in your mouth? Being born in a silver bowl.

Oh yeah, and he's also a little fancy man. Check out this new bib. Freaking awesome.

Yes.

Eitan's Exclamations

Eitan has been saying such funny stuff lately. He's just hilarious. Most of the time unintentionally. He's really learning how to put sentences together, and have little conversations. It's so fun. He's also JUST getting the grasp of the differences between "me" and "you", for example, instead of "mommy pick you up", it's now "mommy pick me up". Brilliant this one.

We keep saying, oh oh, let's remember this, but then forgetting a few hours later, so we put some down here to remember. Let's try to remind ourselves to do this once a month or so, k?

On looking up at the moon one night: Moon pick you up?
After pointing to the ground in the stroller: I want to eat the ground
The day we taught him about private parts: Cookies are public
While holding the remote to his ear: Daddy, call the TV (handing Ami the remote)
After headbutting Levav: I hurt you self on baby
While Ami was putting him to bed: Daddy, do you like mommy? I like mommy.

Uch, he's cute. I know we're not supposed to say so because we're his parents but omygosh, I can't help it.

BFF Twin Cousins

Omygosh these babies. I can't take it! Levav clocks in three weeks older then Maya, and as sad as not getting to be pregnant together with Jac is the happiness of getting these two together.

Jac's maternity leave ends tomorrow, so they can only have adventures together on Fridays-Mondays now, but have we had fun carting these two around all over town.

They have no choice in the matter, they're going to be best friends whether they like it or not. We're going to make it that way. But they're off to a good start.
